This piece is a later version of the original TPM #1. When TP first started making handmades in the early 1960's he used no machines at all. The work was done completely by hand! Later when he acquired knee mills he started milling pockets in the putters. This allowed him to distribute weight more to the edges along with the high weight swept up at the toe of the putter ( done to keep the sweet spot from being to close to the hosel) became his signature pocket models and one of the most recognized shapes in golf. The piece shown has a hybrid neck and "Pate" dotes on the face which creates a distinct and classic look. This piece has the TP Mills trade mark of oval circle on top.
